The Goodwood Revival is a three-day festival held each September at Goodwood Circuit since 1998 for the types of road racing cars and motorcycles that would have competed during the circuit's original period; 1948–1966. The Goodwood Revival is a fabulously popular event with over 150,000 attending over the 3 days and is widely regarded as the premier experience of classic racing and motoring.

The event remains true to the period it recreates and the vast majority of spectators an competitors alike dress in period outfits to make the experience one that is genuinely “Pre 1966”. Shell have a strong prescnce and have supported the Revival closely in the last few years. Once again in 2015 there will a “Woad Corner” Shell vintage service station built in the “Goodwood High Street” in the middle of the action. The Garage contains pumps and Shell forecourt décor for the period as well as a replica Lubrication bay.

In 2015 Shell Classic X-100 Motor Oil will be launched at the event and available from “Shell X-100 Oil Sheds” that will be built near the Pre 1966 Car park and the Competitors Parc Ferme. John Surtees, who recommends Shell Classic X-100 will be on hand to promote the Motor Oil to meet customers

GOODWOOD REVIVAL

Goodwood

The Goodwood Revival is a three-day festival held each September at Goodwood Circuit since 1998 for the types of road racing cars and motorcycle that would have competed during the circuit's original period—1948–1966.

It is one of the world's most popular motor race meetings and the only UK event which recreates the golden era of motor sport from the 1950s and 1960s.

The restored Goodwood Race Circuit is unchanged from its heyday and many visitors wear appropriate period clothing and no modern vehicles are allowed within the circuit perimeter throughout the weekend. There are also theatrical sets that bring the past back to life including many historic aircraft.
